Snow in Arizona for the First Time This Season?

As we reach the middle of October, there are some exciting forecasts for Humphrey's Peak this upcoming weekend. While there are still scorching temperatures down in the valley, Open Snow shows Snowbowl getting potentially 12 inches of snow this weekend. Temperatures are set to rise back up starting next week, which unfortunately makes it likely that snow will melt away, but it is exciting to see the first real potential snowfall up in Northern Arizona this 2024-25 season. Super stoked to be back on the mountain.
